Back-to-School Year Info

Below is a list of recommended supplies for your child by specific grade level. Supplies may be used in the classroom or remotely and will not be shared. Please label all supplies with your child's first and last name if attending face to face learning.  If you have been impacted economically due to COVID-19 we recognize you may not be able to purchase some or all of the supplies.

Kindergarten Supply List
1 plastic pencil box: 8 3/8" L x 5 5/8" W X 2 1/8"H (fits in cubbies or drawers)
1 pair of  blunt tip scissors
3 boxes of crayola crayons (24 count)
1 bottle of Elmer's glue - 4 oz bottle
8 FAT Elmer's glue stick (washable)
2 bottles of anti-bacterial hand sanitizers
1 bottle of anti-bacterial hand soap
1 box of tissues
2 packages of non-scented baby wipes
1 dry erase lap board (approx 9x12)
4 pack of playdough
1 package of fat black dry erase markers
1 backpack
1 set of headphones (not earbuds) 
1 box of Ziploc bags (girls-gallon size/boys-quart size)

First Grade Supply List
1 box of crayons (24 count)
1 box of washable markers
1 pack of #2 pencils
1 spiral notebook wide ruled (70 pages)
2 composition notebooks
2 jumbo glue sticks
1 pair of child size scissors
1 pencil box (large enough to fit crayons, markers and scissors)
1 pair of headphones (not ear buds)
1 child friendly timer (or a timer you can teach your child to use independently)

*Math at Home:
Your child will need 50 small objects to use for counting and adding. Below are some inexpensive items to keep handy so they may use them. 
Dry beans, small dry pasta, pennies, legos, erasers, etc. 

Second Grade Supply List
1 pencil box or bag
2 boxes of crayons (24 count)
1 pack of washable thick markers
2 packs of #2 yellow pencils
1 1/2 inch white binder with clear front and back cover pockets

1 package of notebook paper (200 sheets, wide-ruled)

Art Kit Supply List
To avoid the sharing of supplies, we are asking students to prepare their own Art Kit. Students will use these supplies during their ART CLASS while working on [email protected] or Face to Face at Dream Lake Elementary. If working at school, kits will be kept with the student in their classroom. Supplies DO NOT have to be new. Please make sure that all supplies fit inside a Ziploc bag. Label with child’s NAME and GRADE.  If you have already purchased any of these items for your Grade Level Supply List, there is no need to purchase again.

Art Supplies

● Washable Markers - regular thickness, 8 count or higher
● Colored Pencils - 8 count or higher 
● Glue - 4 oz. bottle

● Drawing paper - [email protected] students - any type of paper is fine (copy paper, drawing pad etc.);
Face-to-Face students will be provided paper 
● 2 ½ Gallon Ziploc bag to hold all supplies
